Under administrative direction of Recreation Supervisor, the Park Attendant is responsible for rental of canoes and kayaks,
concessions, and cleaning the bathhouse, boathouse, and Lakeside Commons Park. Works hours for the boathouse are Sunday –
Saturday 11:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., scheduled hours may vary depending upon availability. Employees will be expected to work 15-30
hours per week. Dates of employment would be May 25 – August 29.
The Blaine Parks and Recreation Department is seeking dynamic and energetic individuals to lead summer recreation programs for youth. Under direction of Program Supervisors, Coordinators, and Recreation Leaders, Leader in Training positions are responsible for assisting Recreation Leaders in providing quality summer recreation programs. Examples of duties include: setting up games, leading games, and picking up equipment; preparing arts & crafts projects and assisting participants; taking daily attendance; acting as a positive role model to program participants. Blaine Parks and Recreation provides training and t-shirts.
